Viet Nam will make every effort to further deepen its relations with Bangladesh, especially in economics, trade, investment, tourism and people-to-people exchanges, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said yesterday.
Receiving newly-appointed Bangladeshi Ambassador Shahab Ullah in Ha Noi yesterday, he also said the Vietnamese Government will create favourable conditions for the ambassador to fulfill his mission.

Shahab Ullah expressed admiration for Viet Nam's economic growth and achievements in poverty reduction, gender equality, mother and child care as well as the country's efforts to deal with climate change.
The ambassador pledged he would do his utmost to connect the two countries' ministries and sectors and localities, thus enhancing bilateral relations.
The same day, PM Dung welcomed new Panamanian Ambassador Servio Sammodio.

He said the two countries should build on the foundation of close political ties to enhance co-operation in economics, trade, investment, science and technology.
He also proposed increasing collaboration and mutual support at international forums, especially at the United Nations, adding that increased exchange visits would help strengthen mutual understanding and trust.
The Panamanian Ambassador assured the PM that his country is very interested in extending its partnership with Viet Nam, focusing on economics, investment, trade and tourism.
He said he would do his best to strengthen bilateral relations, adding that 2015 was an important year, marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Panama and Viet Nam.
