President Truong Tan Sang yesterday sent a message of sympathy to President Park Geun-hye over a ferry disaster, on Wednesday, off the coast of the Republic of Korea.

The mishap has led to nine deaths and left 287 missing, mostly schoolchildren.
On the day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also sent a message of sympathy to Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se.
