Viet Nam U19 beat Arsenal 3-0

Viet Nams under-19 team defeated hosts Arsenal 3-0 in their first European training tour yesterday in London.
Striker Nguyen Cong Phuong scored two goals in the first half and Captain Xuan Truong netted one in the second half.
Their next match is against U19 Wimbledon on March 10.
The young Vietnamese players plan to play 15 matches in Europe. The tour is part of the preparations for the upcoming Asian Football Confederation U19 Championship in Myanmar in October.
In other news, Viet Nam will host the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Under-19 Preparatory Championship in September in Ha Noi.
The AFF said apart from the four registered teams – Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar and Viet Nam – they will invite Japan and Australia as visitors.
The competition is scheduled to be held from September 5 to 13 at the My Dinh National Stadium.
