Viet Nam wants to deepen co-operation with Mexico in all fields and reach an agreement on establishing a joint committee on trade, investment and economic co-operation.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh said this at a meeting with the Chairman of the Mexican Senate's Foreign Affairs Committee for Asia-Pacific, Senator Teofilo Torres Corzo, in Ha Noi yesterday.
He suggested the two sides increase all delegation exchanges and efficiently utilise political consultation mechanisms between the two foreign ministries.

The guest said the Mexican parliament pledged to continue supporting the development of co-operation between the two countries and the two national assemblies in economics, agriculture, education, culture and traditional medicine.
Both sides agreed to further work together at multilateral forums, such as the United Nations and the World Trade Organisation to protect mutual interests.
Earlier, Corzo was welcomed by Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Huynh Ngoc Son who described Mexico as one of Viet Nam's top Latin American partners.
