Viet Nam has drawn into the group of death for the Asian Football Confederation U19 Championships following an announcement yesterday in Yangon, Myanmar.
The Vietnamese team will compete in Group C together with South Korea, Japan and China, who have been billed as the three strongest teams in the competition.

Group A will see Myanmar, Iran, Thailand and Yemen face off against each other, while Group B includes Uzbekistan, Australia, the UAE and Indonesia. Iraq, North Korea, Qatar and Oman will compete in Group C.
Teams will compete in round robin format for the group qualifier beginning on October 9 in Myanmar.
The top two squads of each group will advance to the quarter-finals with the final match scheduled for October 23.
The last four teams will be the Asian representatives at the World U20 Football Championships in New Zealand which will take place between May 30 andJune 20 next year.
