Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said yesterday he hoped that Viet Nam and Morocco would create policies to improve investment and trade.
Trong was speaking at a welcome reception for the Secretary General of the Moroccan Party of Progress and Socialism Party (PPS), Mohamed Nabil Benabdallah, in Ha Noi.

He said Viet Nam wanted to foster more connections with African nations, including Morocco.
Benabdallah said he hoped that the solidarity, friendship and traditional partnership between the two Parties and nations would become stronger.
He invited the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) to attend the PPS's ninth National Congress in June.
Earlier, the guest held talks with head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations, Hoang Binh Quan, during which they discussed ways to expand relations through exchanges of delegations.
Both sides vowed to work closely together at regional and global forums.
During their stay, the Moroccan delegation held working sessions with the National Assembly's Committee for External Affairs, the Ministry of Construction and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration.
They also toured several economic and cultural establishments in the northern province of Quang Ninh.
