Viet Nam defeat Guangzhou in a friendly match

Vietnamese national women's football team beat Guangzhou's Military team 3-0 in a friendly match in China yesterday.


Nguyen Thi Muon and Nguyen Minh Nguyet scored the goals for the visitors.

The Viet Nam team is in China for a month-long training camp to hone their professional skills before competing in the final round of the upcoming Asian Cup 2014.

As planned, the team will play its second match against Guangzhou tomorrow before departing for South Korea on Saturday.

After practising with Hyundai on May 1 and May 4, the team will play a friendly match on May 7 with the South Korean squad, one of the promising candidates in Group B in the Asian event's final.

The team will return to HCM City on May 9 in preparation for the competition, which will kick off on May 14
