Parliamentary meeting likely to lure firms

President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Abdelwahad Radi, has commended Viet Nam's efforts in preparing for the 132nd IPU Assembly in March, 2015.
At a meeting yesterday with National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung in Geneva, Radi said the success of the event would help lure more foreign investors to Viet Nam.

Radi spoke highly of Viet Nam's socio-economic achievements in recent years, attributing them to significant contributions of the Vietnamese legislature.
Hung thanked Radi for his support for Viet Nam in hosting the assembly and asked for further assistance.
He also suggested the theme of the assembly would encourage member parliaments to exchange viewpoints and priorities for their post-2015 development.
The two officials witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Vietnamese NA and the IPU regarding the preparation for the function.
