The Bati-Holic band will perform in Ha Noi on April 9.
Established in 2004 in Kyoto, the cradle of culture and tradition, the Bati-Holic members met each other while learning to play the Japanese drum at an art school.
They performed in festivals in Japan and learned a variety of traditional dances and songs which have been handed down through generations across Japan.
Based on local performing arts around the country, the band plays original Japanese music with its arrangements focusing on the appeal of the Japanese drum. The Bati-Holic group's style is oriented towards using traditional musical instruments.
The group has performed in the Netherlands, South Korea and Chinese Taiwan. They performed in HCM City in 2012.
The Ha Noi concert will be held at the Youth Theatre, 11 Ngo Thi Nham Street. Free tickets will be available at the Japan Foundation, 27 Quang Trung Street.
