A visit to the largest horse farm in northern Vietnam

This horse farm is located in Song Cong town of Thai Nguyen province. It supplies all species of horses for various demands, from transport to racing.
The farm is located on vast hills, where have fresh air and open space, an appropriate place for livestock development.
In the winter, horses are herded from the barn to grass hill from 10am to 3pm every day.
The farm has 41 well-trained and experienced employees.
“Racehorses are rather subtle but stubborn,” said technician Than Van Quang. After a long time he is able to tame them.
The racehorses are the most expensive. Most racehorse species are imported.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam feeds horses, with the fixed quantity of food.
The farm has successfully researched and developed a hybrid species between Canadian and Vietnamese horses to meet the needs of the domestic market.
