PM hosts National Day banquet

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung yesterday chaired a reception with international diplomats to mark the 69th Viet Nam National Day on Tuesday.

Dung said Viet Nam understood clearly that the development of the country was tied to peace and security in the region and the world.


He said Viet Nam always tried to maintain active participation in ASEAN and in security and development issues, respecting international law and building a standard code of conduct in the region.

PM Dung sent thanks on behalf of the Government of Viet Nam to all governments and people around the world who had supported the nation.
